Kelby Siddons (she/her) is an arts marketer, manager, creator, and educator currently based in Jacksonville, FL. In 2020-2021, she served as managing director for Phase Eight Theatre Company and a consultant for the Wirelings, conceptualizing, producing, and coordinating remote theatrical experiences through pre-recorded audio-drama, live Zoom calls, and even food delivery. In the before times, she wrote and produced site-specific and/or ambulatory events on museum campuses including MOCA Jacksonville, the Cummer Museum, and the Matheson Museum. She directed contemporary and Shakespearean plays for northeast Florida theatres such as All Beaches Experimental Theatre, the 5 & Dime, and Players by the Sea. As a dramaturg, playwright, and educator, she has a deep respect for new work and sees theatrical performance as a catalyst for community conversation. During her time as an undergraduate at Northwestern University, Kelby served as the artistic director of Purple Crayon Players, which was awarded the AATE Winifred Ward award for best new TYA company and is still hosting the annual new works festival PLAYground that she started.
