Jack Rizzo, currently serving as the Director of the Fine Arts Ticket Office at Florida State University, boasts a rich background in arts marketing and graphic design. His academic journey culminated in the completion of an MFA in Theatre Management from FSU’s prestigious School of Theatre in May 2023.
Before embarking on his MFA program, Jack held the position of Marketing and Sales Manager at Gretna Theatre in Central Pennsylvania, gaining valuable experience in the field. He further enriched his skill set through internships with Seagle Music Colony and Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where he played roles as a technical intern and Marketing and Public Relations intern, respectively.
Jack’s professional portfolio extends to include successful freelance marketing and design projects for renowned organizations such as Quarry Theatre in Baltimore, MD, and The Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, PA. Complementing his practical experience, he holds a degree in Digital Marketing from Stevenson University.
Though originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania, Jack has made Tallahassee his home, where he resides with his loyal three-year-old Staffordshire Terrier, Rosie. In his current capacity as the Director of the Fine Arts Ticket Office, Jack brings a wealth of arts-related expertise and a deep commitment to the arts at Florida State University.
