The Florida State University’s School of Theatre is extremely honored to be ranked #7 on The Princeton Review‘s list for “Best College Theater“! This honor comes just after the School of Theater was ranked #8 out of 314 nationwide theater programs by College Factual. These rankings mean that the School of Theater ranks in the Top 5% of all theatre programs in the United States!

The Princeton Review is a college preparation and admissions service company that offers tutoring and test preparation services, college admissions resources, online courses, and books. Their college ranking system is unique in the way that they rely on student opinion rather than statistical data. The rankings for best college theatre are based on student ratings of their campus theatre productions. This honor shows that Seminoles are not only enjoying on-campus productions, but these productions are also being recognized on a larger scale by The Princeton Review.

The Florida State University School of Theatre’s mission is to “use the evolving, live, collaborative art of theatre to develop artists and scholars who have a lifelong passion for the arts.” This prestigious honor joins other honors and recognitions for the school, such as castings on Netflix and on the stage in London.
