Published January 30, 2019

Everyone’s buzzing about Hollywood’s newest hit biopic, Vice, including the School of Theatre! Not only was it the most nominated film of the year, but it featured Sam Massaro (BFA Acting 2012) as Young Antonin Scalia.  Vice received six nominations at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards® and became Massaro’s first official film credit.  Vice tells the story of “Dick Cheney, an unassuming bureaucratic Washington insider, who quietly wielded immense power as Vice President to George W. Bush, reshaping the country and the globe in ways that we still feel today”( IMDB).

Tallahassee audiences might recognize Massaro from FSU productions  The  Seagull,  Doubt, and  Hamlet. Massaro has had numerous NYC stage and national tours credits including, but not limited to,  Kind Man,  The Crucible, Hamlet, and  Saint Joan. For more information on Massaro,  click here.
