Equipped with only a handful of German love letters, a group of idealistic actors gather in a rehearsal room to piece together the untold genocide of the Herero people. When personal stories of love, identity, and survival emerge, the boundaries of art and life are tested. The past and present collide as the group embarks on a journey and reveals a history that is all too familiar.
