Matthew Schmidli is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA. He will be serving Florida State University as a faculty member, teaching Acting for the Camera for both the School of Theatre and the College of Motion Picture Arts. Primarily an actor, Matthew has also written, produced and/or directed over 30 films and stage plays. He has been featured in international, national, and regional commercials, as well as several roles in film and television. On stage he performed for the Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre from 2013-2017 and performed for the Kansas City Actor’s Theatre, The Unicorn, Spinning Tree, The Coterie, The Living Room KC, KC Fringe, and the Kansas City Repertory Theatre. Matthew has had several films screened at the Kansas City Film Fest International and the Durango International Film Festival.
