Meg Nelson is a doctoral student at Florida State University. She holds a BS in English Literature and Theology and an MA in Ethics and Public Leadership from Johnson University. Her research centers on the intersection between performance, trauma, and the work of Simone Weil. Meg has most recently worked as a Literary Associate at Pipeline Theatre Company, taught at the Atlantic Acting Conservatory, and assistant dramaturged at Atlantic Theater Company, LCT3, Pipeline Theatre Company, and the Parsnip Ship. Favorite directing credits include: Bright Star with the Wordplayers Theatre Co. and Every Brilliant Thing with River and Rail Theatre Co. Meg is a proud member of the South Atlantic Modern Language Association and the American Society for Theatre Research.
