FSU Theatre program earns recognition from Princeton Review

Published September 17, 2020

For the second year in a row, FSU earned recognition as one of the Top 20 Best College Theaters by Princeton Review.

The Princeton Review  is a college admission services company that offers test preparation services, tutoring and admissions resources, online courses and books. Their annual rankings are based on data collected from surveys of 143,000 students at the 386 schools included in their publication, “The Best 386 Colleges.”

Our 2021 ranking among the Top 20 Best Colleges for Theatre by the Princeton Review is a source of pride for us, because it is student driven, reflecting the broad sense of satisfaction that our School of Theatre students experience. This year we have the added distinction of being 1 of only 2 public institutions in the top 20, of an overall 386 colleges reviewed. We are honored to be in good company.

– James Frazier, Dean

While not empirically-based in the way that the U.S. News rankings are, to a certain degree, the Princeton Review rankings may provide anecdotal guidance for potential students and families.
