School of Theatre Alum Recognized with FSU Alumni Award

Leslie Flesner (BFA Music Theatre, 2008)

Leslie Donna Flesner, (BFA Music Theatre, 2008), was recently awarded the Thirty Under 30 Award by the FSU Alumni Association. This award was created to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of Florida State’s young alumni. Recipients have shown outstanding achievements and made significant contributions to his/her professions, community/society, or the university. Click here to see the list of this year’s recipients.

Just recently, Flesner joined the cast of the hit Broadway show An American In Paris. Flesner’s Broadway credits include Honeymoon in Vegas, Cinderella, Chaplin, Follies, and Finian’s Rainbow. Her professional experience reaches both stage and screen roles and includes Fanny (Encores!), Finian’s Rainbow (Encores!), Met Opera Ballet, HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”, Honeymoon in Vegas (Papermill Playhouse), North Shore Music Theater, The MUNY, PittsburghCLO, Ogunquit Playhouse, Maltz Jupiter, Portland Center Stage, and the 67th Annual Tony Awards.
