The Mind, Body and Breath of the Actor. This work focuses on the use of yoga and sound to increase physical flexibility, energy, breath extension, memory, mental balance and focus. It will help the actor connect their physical movement with their vocal instrument in a way that promotes truthful moment to moment presence. The text used is Shakespeare.
Jean was the recipient of the University Teaching Incentive Program Award and has twice received the University Teaching Award. She is a member of the Actors Equity Association and the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists. She has taught internationally in Athens, Greece and Budapest, Hungary.
