Davis Gaines Takes the Stage in Orlando Shakespeare’s SPAMALOT

Alum and FSU Grad Made Good, Davis Gaines (Bachelor of Arts, 1976), is set to star in Orlando Shakespeare’s upcoming production of Monty Python’s SPAMALOT as the infamous King Arthur. The show will run from Sept. 9th – Oct. 11th   and offers a $10 off student discount for tickets purchased in advance. Gaines was seen last in Orlando Shakespeare’s production of Les Misérables as Javert.

Davis Gaines is most noted for performing the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera more than 2,000 times in runs on Broadway, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In addition to appearing in multiple Broadway and regional performances and winning numerous honors and awards, Gaines has sung for five US presidents, performed at the Kennedy Center Honors, and performed with every major orchestra in North America.
