Davis Gaines Headlines 2015 Benefit Concert

School of Theatre alum Davis Gaines (Bachelor of Arts, 1976) returns to the Fallon Stage for the Ninth Annual Benefit Concert. Performing The Fantasticks, Gaines will be joined onstage by fellow Tallahassee favorites Larry Gerber and Mark Ziegler as well as FSU Music Theatre students.

Gaines recently starred as “King Arthur” in Orlando Shakespeare’s production of Monty Python’s SPAMALOT. Gaines is most noted for performing the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera more than 2,000 times in runs on Broadway, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In addition to appearing in multiple Broadway and regional performances and winning numerous honors and awards, Gaines has sung for five US presidents, performed at the Kennedy Center Honors, and performed with every major orchestra in North America.
