Dariush Kashani is an Iranian-American actor who works in Film, Television & Theatre.
He gained critical acclaim for his performance in Oslo at Lincoln Center Theater, which won best play at the 2017 Tony Awards. He also received an Obie Award along with the company for his work in the Off Broadway production.
Dariush then starred in the 2018 Broadway Musical The Band’s Visit, which went on to win in 10 categories at the 72nd Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
His stage career includes roles at NY Stage & Film, Second Stage, The Women’s Project, The Public Theatre, McCarter Theatre Center and Manhattan Theatre Club. Dariush’s work in Tony Kushner’s play Homebody/Kabul spanned several years where he performed at New York Theatre Workshop, The Mark Taper Forum and Brooklyn Academy of Music.
On television, he first appeared in the daytime soaps Another World and Guiding Light. His work in primetime series includes High Maintenance, The Code, Dietland, Madam Secretary, NCIS: Los Angeles, Medium, NCIS, Ghost Whisperer, CSI, Lost, 24, JAG, Without a Trace, and Law & Order.
Dariush is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
