Casey holds a BA in Theatre and Spanish from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington and an MFA in Stage Management from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and has been involved in several professional theatrical productions in New York and across the country. She was previously the Resident Production Stage Manager at Seven Angels Theatre in CT and Merrimack Repertory Theatre in MA. She is also a former Resident Stage Manager at University of Delaware’s Resident Ensemble Players. Casey has been a member of the stage management teams at Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival for the last several years. Other credits include: Theatre for A New Audience, Sharon Playhouse, and Looking Glass Theatre Company. One of her favorite projects to date is “Laughter and Reflection with Carol Burnett” at The Palace Theatre. While working in New York City, Casey was the Student Life technician of the Glicker-Milstein Theatre at Barnard College of Columbia University, where she assisted on-campus performing arts groups with the realization of their productions and served as a mentor for student-led performing arts organizations.

Casey has served as a Mentor for the Stage Management Mentor Project (SMMP) at USITT and sits on four committees within Actors’ Equity Association. She is an active member of the Stage Managers’ Association and serves as a member of the Membership Committee. She is also the co-chair of the COVID committee for Year of the Stage Manager 20/21 and the Scheduling Coordinator for the National Collaborators Conference in October 2020. Additionally, Casey has enjoyed serving as a Professional Theatre Grant Panelist for the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs.

Through service and teaching, Casey strives to empower young theatrical professionals and advance the artistry of stage management across all theatrical mediums.
