Casey Leigh Hagwood

Casey holds a BA in Theatre and Spanish from the University of Noth Carolina at Wilmington and an MFA in Stage Management from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. As a member of Actors’ Equity Association, the professional union for actors and stage managers in the United States, Casey has been involved in several professional theatrical productions in New York and across the country.

Casey previously served as the Resident Production Stage Manager at both Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury, CT and Merrimack Repertory Theatre in Lowell, MA. She is a former member of the resident stage management team at the University of Delaware’s Resident Ensemble Players. She has been a member of the stage management team at two outdoor summer repertory sister companies – Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival – for the last several years. Other credits include Theatre for A New Audience, Sharon Playhouse, and Looking Glass Theatre Company. One of her favorite projects to date was the opportunity to stage-manage Laughter and Reflection with Carol Burnett at The Palace Theatre. While working in New York City, Casey was the Student Life technician of the Glicker-Milstein Theatre at Barnard College of Columbia University, where she assisted on-campus performing arts groups with the realization of their productions and served as a mentor for student-based performing arts organizations. Casey has had the privilege to work on several new works and premieres that transferred to other theatres throughout New York and the country.
