Come and celebrate the season with the School of Theatre at our 10th Annual Benefit Concert as we present Meredith Willson’s The Music Man featuring Davis Gaines. The concert will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 7:30 pm in the Fallon Theatre.
This Tony Award®-winning classic American musical tells the story of traveling salesman Professor Harold Hill and his visit to River City, Iowa. He cons the townspeople into purchasing musical instruments for the school children, including “76 Trombones” by proclaiming that he will be able to teach them to play. However, with no musical ability of his own, he plans to flee the town after collecting the money. What he did not count on was caring about the people of the town and falling in love with Marian, the librarian.
Join us for an evening of music that you know and love. Proceeds from the Benefit Concert support our students and programs that continue to enhance the School of Theatre’s position as one of the country’s top theatre training programs. In the spirit of this special time of year, we invite you to be part of something extraordinary. It is guaranteed to be a talent-filled evening you will not want to miss.
Get your tickets now! Tickets are $45.00 for the performance only or $75.00 for the performance and a special reception. The reception includes drinks and hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast, and the opportunity to meet Davis Gaines and the talented cast and crew.
