Alum Stars in Hit NBC Series - now in it's Second Season
Megan Boone, a 2005 graduate of the FSU School of Theatre’s BFA Acting program, currently stars as Elizabeth Keene on the new NBC drama series “Blacklist.” According to NBC.com, “Megan Boone stars as rookie FBI profiler Elizabeth Keene, fresh out of Quantico, on NBC's high-action government crime thriller” opposite television, film, and stage veteran, James Spader. "What follows is a series of events as the race to stop a terrorist begins."
Boone’s film and television career has steadily grown over the past several years. She has been a series regular on Law & Order: LA as Junior Deputy District Attorney Lauren Stanton and was featured in multiple films including Sex in the City 2 and Step Up Revolution. She starred in Stephen Elliott's About Cherry with James Franco, Heather Graham, and Dev Patel, and made her feature film debut in Patrick Lussier's My Bloody Valentine. Patrons of the School of Theatre may recognize Boone from productions of Big Love, Tough Choices of a New Century, and the Ground Zero Projects. She also appeared in several films through the FSU Film School that have been presented at festivals worldwide including Cannes, Sundance, and Telluride.
The second season premiered on September 22, 2014 and is on Mondays at 10/9c on NBC.
