On Broadway
Montego Glover will be starring in the new musical Memphis, which is scheduled to open on October 19, 2009. Fellow Music Theatre alum, Kevin Covert, will also be performing in the production.
Leslie Flesner (BFA Music Theatre, 2008) will be performing in the musical production of Finian’s Rainbow with Cheyenne Jackson, which is set to open on October 29, 2009.
Darren Bagert (BFA Music Theatre, 1992) is the Producer behind the recent Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls starring Oliver Platt and Lauren Graham, which earned him a Tony Award nomination.
Heather Provost (BA Theatre, 1994) is the lead producer on the Broadway bound production, Under My Skin. Heather was recently nominated for a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for the play Reasons To Be Pretty.
Joey Haro is currently performing in the Broadway Revival of West Side Story.
Christian Delcroix and Mike Evariste (both 2002 Music Theatre graduates) are currently performing in the Tony Award-winning revival of South Pacific.
Television/Film
John Brace (1984) is the Casting Director behind the new NBC Drama Trauma. John’s credits as Casting Director include Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and Friday Night Lights and John has won Emmy Awards for Casting for Grey’s Anatomy and Friday Night Lights.
Valerie (Ramirez) Cruz (BFA Acting, 1997) can be seen on HBO’s vampire series True Blood, which is written by fellow alum Alan Ball.
Henry Zebrowski (BA Theatre, 2005) is a featured sketch player on the new Comedy Central series Michael & Michael Have Issues.
Megan Boone (BFA Acting, 2005) made her feature film debut in My Bloody Valentine 3D which opened nationwide on January 16th. Megan also recently appeared in an episode of the CBS drama Cold Case.
Cassandra Freeman (BFA Acting, 2002) has a recurring role in the CBS drama Numb3rs as an FBI Tech. Cassie also appeared in the Hollywood hit the Inside Man opposite Denzel Washington and Jodie Foster, and directed by Spike Lee.
Additional Updates
Nicole Disson (BFA Acting, 2006) is currently acting in Pierre Corneille's Baroque Masterpiece, The Illusion, at The Open Fist Theater in Los Angeles. The show opens September 26th and runs through November 21st.
The School of Theatre currently has a number of alums in National Tours: D.B. Bonds in Legally Blonde: The Musical, Emily Fletcher in A Chorus Line, Tiffany Howard in Mary Poppins, Michael Fatica in CATS, and Natalie Caruncho in In the Heights.
Christopher Nunez (BA, 2005) is currently working on Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular (the Las Vegas version of The Phantom of the Opera) in Las Vegas as the Assistant Company Manager.
Morgan Rose (BFA Music Theatre, 2006) is currently a swing and dance captain for the Off Broadway debut of Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich's Kids Musical, Dear Edwina.
Rob Waltz (MFA Technical Production, 2008) is the Head of Automation for Cirque de Soleil’s Las Vegas show, Zumanity.
Andrew Hagan (MFA Technical Production, 2006) is working with the Theatre Project Consultants in Norwalk, CT as a Consultant - Assistant Equipment Designer.
Caleb Custer (MFA Theatre Management, 2008) is the Director of Marketing for Cedar Lake Contemporary Dance in New York City.
